There is a cute little story with this session. It was a Saturday morning I hadn't scheduled any sessions on this particular Saturday. I was in the process of moving the studio, and decided to get caught up on some much needed paperwork. Meanwhile, Michelle is at home ironing her clothes. She decided at the last minute that she wanted pictures of her and her two boys. She called Wal-Mart and said she had to beg for a spot. Upon hanging up with Wal-Mart she remembered me. She decided to call me, which is always a smart thing to do.. haha.. JK.. No seriously, she got to thinking about the type of pictures she would get at Wal-Mart, how long of a wait it would be, how big of a hurry they would probably be in. Heard them through like cattles and take their money. That is what is so great about Photographers like myself. We may be more expensive, but the quality of services, product, and the level of care and attetnion and attention to detail that you will recieve is PRICELESS! Sorry to rant, but it is so true. Why would you want to get your picutures made at a department store chain studio? It's so , so, unpersonal.... maybe that is the word I am looking for. Anyways..off my soapbox now and onto my story. So Michelle calls me up tells me her story and asks me can I please do them that day, in two hours no less. I said "Of course" So we done her session outside. It was a beautiful day. Her oldest son was so sweet. He has to be the best big brother that I have ever seen. He really was a very well behaved boy and I told him how proud I was of him. Now Michelle has portraits of her and her kids to cheerish forever. That day has come and gone but the memories that remain with the help of these photographs will live on. She now has pictures of her boys in their natural everday state like they are. So please before you jump up and run to a department store, check out some local photographers, hopefully me, but if not please splurge and get what you and your family truly deserve. Thanks for reading and please take care and stay safe out there.
